Adferiad Recovery
Adferiad Recovery is a Welsh charity that provides support, resources and outreach to those with mental health and substance abuse problems and the co-occurring social, legal and housing issues relating to these problems.
The organisation is the result of a merger between four leading Welsh charities: Adferiad Recovery, CAIS, HAFAL and WCADA, which occurred in April 2021. Michael Sheen was involved in patron or ambassadorship roles with each of these charities before their merger and was announced as the official patron and ambassador for Adferiad Recovery on 12 May 2021.
