Heartlands (2002)

Michael Sheen plays easy-going amateur darts player and newsagent Colin Lawes in this 2002 comedy road movie, written by Paul Fraser and directed by Damien O’Donnell.

The film documents Colin’s journey of self-discovery as he leaves his ordinary life in a small town for a road trip to Blackpool.

Michael stars alongside many famous faces from British film and TV, including Celia Imrie, Ruth Jones, James Corden, Mark Strong and Jim Carter.

The beautiful soundtrack for the film was created by English folk singer and songwriter Kate Rusby, who also appears in the film.
