NYCC 2022 Good Omens Panel

The Good Omens panel at New York Comic Con 2022 featured Neil Gaiman, director Douglas Mackinnon, executive producer Rob Wilkins, returning actors Maggie Service and Nina Sosanya and new addition to the show, Quelin Sepulveda.

The panel was streamed for free and for digital ticket holders. It featured a clip from the new series, for which stream viewers only heard the audio. The in-person attendees at the convention were the only ones who got to see the video. Some fans made recordings but these have been swiftly removed from the internet by Amazon Prime.

There was also a pre-recorded Staged-style “Zoom call” at the end of the panel featuring Michael Sheen, David Tennant and Jon Hamm. The video was blocked for the stream viewers until half way through, which turned out to be a mistake. Following uproar in the fandom, Neil Gaiman posted the Zoom call video on his YouTube channel. Amazon Prime then hilariously took it down, until the matter was resolved and the video made available again.
