Michael Sheen and Di Botcher (who played The Teacher’s mother in The Passion of Port Talbot) took part in celebrations at Tata steelworks in Port Talbot to mark 40 years of operation of the plant’s Continuous Caster 1.
The event focussed on the community around the steelworks, featuring street art by local Welsh artists, music, sports and fundraising activities, and the opening of a memorial to remember past workers.
