Michael Sheen appeared on The Andy Jaye Podcast, part of which was played on his show on TalkRadio on 10 July.
They discussed the A Writing Chance project, football, how he got the confidence to play real life people by finding out he was good at doing the voices for the characters when he read to his daughter Lilly, kids’ TV, his dad being a Jack Nicholson lookalike, Under Milk Wood and War of the Worlds.
A Writing Chance is a project created and co-funded by Michael Sheen which aims to help new writers and journalists from under-represented and lower-income backgrounds have their voices heard and their stories told.
11 writers were chosen to receive bursaries, mentoring and more to help them break into the creative industries.
